Site map

  • By using site map it providing a link to a sitemap that enables a user to get their 'bearings' - to more efficiently move around the website.
  • A site map (or Sitemap) is a list of Pages of a web site accessible to crawlers or users.  It can be either a document in any form used as a planning tool for website design, or a web page that lists the pages on web site, typically organized in hierarchical fashion.
  • A site map is usually a useful way of orienting first-time users to the content of a website. It provides an overview of the website content in a manner similar to the content page of book.  The site map enables a user to get their “bearings”, to more efficiently move around the website.
  • A site map should be provided showing the structure of the site and linking to every page on the site.  Site map gives a graphical depiction of how the various pages on the website will be linked.
